As the go-to person for technical matters, you will be responsible for addressing both internal and external customers and suppliers. Your expertise in 3D CAD will be crucial for developing, assessing, and approving construction solutions, as well as creating technical drawings. Additionally, you'll be involved in the design of new products and supporting other departments including product management, purchasing, supply chain management, and quality assurance. Taking on projects, you'll have the opportunity to influence the design concepts, evaluate product adherence to standards and regulations, and approve product designs. Your expertise in custom product design and knowledge of connector series such as M23 and 7/8" will make you a valuable point of contact within the company. To excel in this role, you should have a degree or training in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, precision engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in designing die-cast parts, turned parts, stamped parts, and plastic components, and familiarity with connection technologies such as crimping and IDC technique is required. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Edge, will be advantageous. As a team player, you should thrive in an international organization. Excellent fluency in English and German, both spoken and written, is essential.
